The
Goals of Candela Club
1) To set a positive
example for society by becoming
salseros who care about the environment.
2) To share, with other
students, the satisfaction of
creating a Club about a passion that one has
for Salsa
and the environment
3) To teach the students how to participate
in Club
activities, show commitment and perform as
a team
club.
4) Relieve stress and
anxiety of any kind throughout
the great friendly way of learning salsa and
interacting with new PCC members
5) To promote self-esteem
and interaction for students
in a collaborating way.
6) To make the students
see life in a more joyful,
cooperative manor by means of Salsa dancing
and public
civilization.
7) To encourage the
members to do community service
hours while helping the environment in any
way we can.
8) “Candela Club
at PCC Today……thoughtful Salseros
tomorrow”
9) To enlighten others
with the message “Candela Club
is a way of life and we are Salseros who care!”
10) To be in harmony
with everything that surround
us, while dancing Salsa.
11) Once students graduate
from our campus, we want
them to take some action from the message
learned and
also to realize there are other fun activities
to
learn from such as Salsa dancing.
12) Upon graduating,
our students will be empowered to
take action utilizing the tools that we have
given
them self-esteem, confidence, and awareness.
